For as long as I can remember, my goal has been to make the world a better place. My life’s work is rooted in service, and my values are guided by a belief that we are all connected and share an obligation to care for each other.
I grew up going to church where we were deeply involved in our church community. We were there every Sunday morning, organizing events, sharing our time, talents, and treasure, and serving the community. I continue my church service with the St. Bernadette’s men’s club where we give back to the community and the church.
About 6 years ago I was honored with the task of building the church a new cross by the late Father Dalton. I’m no stranger to creating things with my hands and know every aspect of the construction industry but this was a true honor and one of my proudest achievements. Well, that and the birth of my child.
Hollywood is facing a myriad of challenges that threaten our future, our security, and our health. I love Hollywood and I believe we can overcome those challenges and have sustainable peace - that we can have a safe, vibrant community where our kids get great educations, our young adults and young families have opportunities for great jobs and homeownership, and where we can ease into our retirement years, enjoying our beautiful state and community of people every step along the way. I have already been doing the work of navigating budget constraints, putting federal funds to effective use, and addressing Floridian’s struggles as we work toward that future and I am ready to serve you as your next Hollywood Commissioner for district 6.
It’s time we have a commissioner that focuses on the residents and not the developers. A commissioner That values everyone, no matter what race, religion, sexual orientation, or ethnicity.
Start with the little things like sidewalks, potholes, signage, Speed limits, etc.
As a commissioner, I would put more focus and attention on our city as a whole, and not just the beach district as most do.
A leader, or a commissioner is not about your résumé of which clubs, you’re a part of, what boards you sit on, Or what group you’re affiliated with.
It’s about how hard you’re gonna work for the residents in your district who elected you, And the residents of the city as a whole. It’s not what you did yesterday it’s what you’re gonna do today and tomorrow.
A great way to help great way to help the campaign is just showing a small donation of five dollars minimum. And as per a yard sign to be placed on your property and show off support. Please leave your address for record.
